Black Screen may be caused by corrupted files, failure applications (.exe)
I have encountered this on my Vista, after my account logged in, i was greeted by black screen ith mouse.
This step you can use if all applications were terminated.
- Open Safe Mode Command Prompt.
- You will be given a Command Prompt, type
Sfc /scannow.
- This scan will be take a time, so wait.
By doing this step your Black Screen will be fixed and gone.
